French 22K Gold Belle Epoque Topaz Repousse Link Bracelet Paris c.1880
The piece is has held up reasonably well considering it is hollow and over 100 years old. It is still completely wearable. The piece is hallmarked with the French mercury head export mark used by jewelers from Paris starting in 1879. It also has a 1 next to the head for 920/1000 or 22K gold. There is also a makers mark. The center stone is a white topaz, it is flanked by a ruby and a red paste stone. One of them is a replacement I am assuming. The links are hollow so some of them are dented but this is only noticeable upon close examination. Two of the links toward the back have also been repaired and the solder work is obvious. The bracelet measures 7.25' long and weighs 6.5 grams
